Supporting Arts, Music, Culture and Small Business in the Hilltop and Surrounding Areas.
The mission of the Hilltop Howlers is the promotion of art, music, and small business in Montgomery Alabama, primarily the Hilltop and surrounding areas. It aspires to bringing a punk style DIY aesthetic to the promotion and support of area bands, artists, and entrepreneurs. It embraces diversity, and recognizes that we are only as strong as the least of us. In support of their mission, they release a monthly one sheet zine, called The Monthly Howler, to promote local events and spotlight various businesses, artists, and bands.
We are always looking for folks to help us out. The easiest way you can help is to share our social media, and inviting your friends. You can also donate items for the homeless, come out to our service days, help us build connections, or volunteer at our events. You can also donate funds or purchase merch to help.
Each month we send out an email that contains that upcoming month's Howler, as well as any guidebooks we have chosen to include that month.
